This may be the reason there will be a push for implanted security devices in us. Unless you chop off a finger or arm with a chip implanted in the wrists, it must be you when you log in.
If you don’t have arms you certainly have a head to be alive so the chip is implanted in your forehead. I found this all out reading a medical magazine waiting for a doctor appointment. It talked about coming up with the best coating for the rice grain size chip not to migrate subcutaneously as some others were found to.
These have been tested in work, commercial and street retail situations.
It is coming.
Not for me.

If it can be created, it can be recreated.

I don’t use it. I don’t want to screw up what has been working well. I update my passwords every few months.

I use them on many of the site I visit. You can never be too careful!

I use them everyday at work to login to my servers. I think they may be overkill for personal use. As others have mentioned, good Password Managers and strong password creation are best policy. I also recommend 2 step verification if it is available (most banking apps will have this; I know Yahoo Mail also allows you to set it up on your account).

I guess the phrase would be "proportionate response."
if I'm logging into S2ki or Mbworld and shooting my mouth off Then a simple password it good.
If they hacked around enough they might be able to get a credit card number I used to pay for my membership.
Basic low risk or consequence for data breach.

On the other end of the spectrum, we have say Vanguard, FIdelity, Chase, Schwab, etc.
Accounts which potentially could have significant amounts of MY MONEY!!!
I'm thinking not only passkey butalso two factor authentication when they send me a token PIN on my cell phone as well.

It's a whole lot easier to keep your money safe than try and recover it later.
