Pears and Rum

A year and a half ago or so we took some red barlett pears sliced them up and packed them in a jar filled with Goslings Dark Rum on the recomendation of a friend.

Then we kind of forgot about them until yesterday. MMMMMMMM

And MMMMMMMM with a kick too.

Maybe in a blender with some ice and topped with whipped cream

This past Saturday we were at a party and the host was serving a homemade drink that tasted like apple pie - it truly did. I don't recall what was in it except I was warned it included 190 prove booze! There was zero taste of alcohol. They were joking it was a date rape drink.
