Yeah Paypal has different levels of "verification" plus you can then send the money to your checking account without a fee (their hook).

I never did that because I have read bad things about them like they would take money out of your account if something you had gotten money for was disputed and then they would keep it for until the resolution, which might be many many months. Granted that was all before eBay bought them out, so hopefully they canned the people that made those policies.
