Default Pittsburgh-Youngstown visit

Sue and I are going to a wedding the day before (June 16) in the Youngstown area and then plan to drive to Pittsburgh on June 17.

We last visited Pittsburgh over 20 years ago, so everything there will be like new. What are the must-see places? We will be staying at the Hampton Inn on McKnight Road.

Make sure to get your fill of Iron City beer, you cannot find that stuff anywhere else. If you have already tried it, that is enough, you do not need to do it again.

Dennis, I see Maury has sent you a PM. I was in Pittsburgh on December 5 and 6th, 2006. My favorite must-see was these two...

^Beth and Maury (Jumpy Guy).

They showed me around on a very nice day. Here's what we saw...

And here are some more...

The day I left it was just starting to snow but you won't have that to worry about.

I did manage to see some more of downtown Pitts before the snow hit hard on my way to the airport...

When we last went up the Incline I recall looking down at a red tailed hawk. That was neat. I agree it's a must trip up the hill. I think Pittsburgh is one of the best keep secrets for neat big cities.

Those who spend a couple extra days B4 or aft SF08 should take a look around Pittsburgh. I've been there a number of times, but still have to ride on the Inclined Plane thingy....

Of course, SF04 took place to the west (Cranberry Twp & Beaver Run track), but I don't think too many took a look at Pgh...
