I often read an interesting 'thread' topic that asks for opinions....but the 'poll' function is not used. I always think the 'poll' results give a good snapshot of overall opinion, and try to use it whenever it makes sense.

I didn't vote as I didn't see my answer. I think there aren't many polls because people don't want to take one to begin with.

I like them and I like seeing how the answers go.

Oh, and silly you, Jerry. Polls are the things in bedrooms for the woman to use to entertain her man. I think there are even poll dancing classes now. At least that's what I've seen on the local news when I'm a captive audience on the ellipticals at the gym.
