Default Popcicles

What did they cost when you were a kid? 5 cents for a big double? Eskimo Pies or Ice Cream Sandwiches anyone?
What was your favorite? Look at what they cost today and how much smaller they are.

I liked Orange ones.

banana and grape were my favs, orange is good too. Nowadays I like the Hagen-Dazs ones with almonds and chocolate, but they cost a small fortune. I don't recall the price exactly, maybe 25 cents was as low as I seen them.

A friend gave me a package of banana popsicles that she couldn’t fit in her freezer, I have had them for a few months I have one occasionally. I think she said she got the package which is quite large for less than five bucks at Walmart.
When I was a kid I liked to get the chocolate covered vanilla popsicles from the ice cream truck.
A friend of mine just bought a 1961 Ford ice cream truck and is selling ice cream out of it he said it even has a soft serve machine, which he said is a pain to clean.

Nutty Buddies were 25 cents when I was in elementary school.

Loved those things - still do. I just bought a box of them at Costco last week.

Those are good! I had a snickers ice cream bar a few weeks ago which was somewhat close to the nutty buddy bar.

Think I liked orange popcicles but it’s been soooo long. I do remember getting a single scoop ice cream cone at Thrifty Drug Store for a nickel, in the 60s.

I like ice cream sandwiches which have the softer cookie top and bottom, these days I like a Klondike bar which is similar but thicker, quite good when it softens up a bit.

The sugar free Klondike bars are one of the very few sugar free items that I find to be quite tasty and no nasty after taste.

In grade school I was able to buy an ice cream bar for ten cents.
