Default Prince Andrew

Now that Ghislaine Maxwell's goose is cooked eyes are turning towards Prince Andrew and the lawsuit against him.
I have no idea what he did or didn't do and I am not a lawyer especially in international law,
but it is never a good look when you are arguing legal technicalities over whether someone has the right to sue you because of having previously signed an NDA with the dead pedophile.

It's all a bit tawdry I'd say. well beneath the crown and all that.

It doesn't help when there is a very public picture of you hugging the person that you claim you never met. Also he claims that he is not able to sweat, I guess one of the plaintiffs claimed that he was very sweaty ?

I don't think this will be the last high-profile person charged in this scandal.

I can play Monday morning lawyer, as it truly does look like his hands are dirty. Seeing that it is the royal family, that doesn’t surprise me. They are privileged, so they are notorious for doing weird things.

But you make a great point. International law is a little more tricky, than within one’s own country. Just watching the Johnny Depp deposition in England this year, you can see how unusual the British legal system is, compared to the US.

Let it play out. Andrew is on the hot seat. Let’s watch to see if he buckles under the pressure from Buckingham Palace.

Just heard on the news that in the official royal family photos of Andrew's daughter's wedding, he was not shown. Sad if he is innocent, but tough shit if he's guilty.

There are consequences for your actions. Let him be treated like everyone else as there is no man above or below the law. Deal justice after all the investigations.

The powerful royals will sweep this under the rug if possible. Money may change hands. They will not tarnish their image. I wasn't there, I don't know what happened, but the Prince looked pretty cozy in that photo with the young woman. I also get that there are some people who just want a photo with someone famous. We just don't know. I do lean to the "he's scum" side of the equation, just because.

I have my personal opinion about his guilt but I do believe everyone is innocent until proven guilty. I believe he needs to brought to trial if sufficient evidence exists to prosecute him, then he is on his own to prove his innocence or be found guilty if the evidence supports it. I'm pretty sure there are some other high-profile individuals who went through Epstein's lair, and they are probably shaking in their boots watching what will happen to Andrew.

public opinion needn’t hold themselves to the same standard as criminal court
