It is different from the original. But, I have now watched the first 4 hours and it still holds my interest.

 

I watched it also. The only thing it has in common with the original Prisoner is that there is a village, the inhabitants have numbers and tat the main protagonist does not know why he is there and wants to get out.

 

That pretty much sums it up.
