After almost 3 years away from this group, I am humbly coming before you to request that I once again be included as part of this esteemed bunch of great folks. A lot has happened to me in the past 3 years, including marriage, loss of my mother, addition of a Gold Wing, sale of my airplane, and last Wednesday, my last day of work!

For those who knew me before, you can't believe how much I've missed this forum. Now that I have all the time in the world to do what I really want, it's time to come home.

I know I've missed the camaraderie and good will that I experienced when I was active.

So, Rob, Carmen, Deb, Jerry, Granny, Beth, Valentine, and all the other names that my CRS keeps me from remembering, I say "hello," and I promise to not be a stranger.

We're planning a meet in August in Northern New Jersey. We'd love to have you with us. It's the Gathering in the Garden State. See the thread thats pinned.

Somehow I knew you would be the first to answer my post! Believe me, it's great to be back and to see so many familiar names. It's also good to see that we have quite a bit of new blood around, too. I'll look at the details for the northern NJ meet. Since I have no other pressing demands, Bea & I should be able to make it. (I'm really starting to enjoy this retirement thing!!

I'll try to fill in the blanks for the last 3 years, but I'll do it gradually so as not to bore the other members!

I'll also try to catch up on the other posts, since I have not been lurking.

You'll be happy to know that it hasn't changed one bit. Still the best bunch of folks you could ask for.

Bea is doing absolutely great. She had a stent put into her carotid artery last July at UPenn, and according to her doctors there, it probably saved her life. It is amazing how much she has progressed since she had her stroke. She is not working, but enjoying being home and taking care of me, her flowers, and our Westie, Maggie. We have a trip planned in July to Nova Scotia, PEI, and New Brunswick. And, yes, we're taking the S2000!!!! Can't wait!!!

How is your family? I'll bet Adam has really grown.
