Nice write-up, Jonas. I'm not sure whether I like the looks of it yet. It may have to grow on me.

Good write up Jonas. I'll be changing my oil this week, so I'll check out the car while I'm waiting. I believe that the new Civic SI is scheduled to debut this fall. I like the early renderings of the car.

Next June I intend to give my son Adam my Si and I'll be in the market for a new daily driver. Right now I'm leaning towards a new 4 door Si, but I do want to consider the CR-Z as well. I'm not sure that it fulfills all of my needs (4 seats, locking trunk, etc.), but I haven't seen it in person yet either. My Honda dealer hasn't received one yet (if he has he's not showing it).

I probably am going to end up with a new Si, but I am going test drive it.

Thanks for the excellent write up Jonas. Your write up is the first positive write up on it that I've read. I tend to think your write up is probably the most accurate one.

Robb, i looked at one this morning. How much of a backseat do you require? If anything more than a postage stamp scratch the CR-Z off your list.

How come this model does not show up on Honda's web site?

A back seat isn't an absolute requirement, but considering the fact that my S2000 is a two seater, it makes sense for my daily driver to have a back seat.

Probably my only absolute requirement is a locking trunk.

I'm thinking that the Si is probably the better choice for me, but I do want to take a look at the CR-z and test drive it.
