Very sad news. I never had the pleasure of meeting John but from all of the comments he was a wonderful person. I am happy he was with his grandchildren as I know how much I love my grandchildren.

Update
Several members have confirmed that they are attending R C Ryder's memorial service on Saturday 4/24
There are three of us so far staying at the Comfort Inn at 5909 Milan Road -
US 2 & 250 - Sandusky Ohio (419) 621-0200 on Friday night 4/23
If you are interested in staying at this location with the group please PM me - with who and what nights you are interested in and I would be happy to contact the hotel for you -- Unfortunately the Manger is not available until tomorrow and I need to speak with her regarding a block of rooms
For those of you coming from out of state there is some good site seeing to do around Lake Erie and you may want to stay Saturday night - Just a thought
