I finally decided to retire. With the travel from Louisville to Cincinnati every week, having to rent an apartment, and the cost of fuel continueing it's upward movement, I've decided it's time to stay home. I look to many future meets with the Vintage club. Now I can always be there a day or two ahead of time and be in no hurry to leave.

 

I for one can vouch for retirement being absolutly wonderful.

 

It's a BIG step, but all the retiree's I've ever talked with said it was GREAT!

 

Congratulations, Glenn! How long before Carol suggests a part time job for you?

 

Congrats. I'll be as soon as the economy turns around...should be about 15 years.

 

I retired a week after I hit 60 and have never missed it. My "to do" list has never run dry. Good luck and enjoy it.

here's some unsolicited advice- set up a home office. even if you are not working, it's a great place to hide. each month I call a staff meeting to select the employee of the month. I've won every time!
