James Caan passed at the age of 82. RIP

 

RIP - he was always one of my favorite actors.

 

He convinced many that he could have been Italian, not bad for a man of Jewish heritage and born in the US.

 

When I was young, I was deeply moved by Brian's Song and left an indelible impression on me about friendship. He was great in Godfather.

 

Tried to upload the "trashcan" scene from the Godfather (can somebody else do it?)

Great and Innovative actor, story is that the spats were his idea

 

 

I liked him in Misery and an older movie called The Thief. R.I.P.

 

The Godfather was his signature role. He should have never taken the causeway.

 

That was a good scene, one of my favourites.

I used that movie scene to explain something to my wife when we first met. If anyone messes with your sister, mother, wife, or grandmother within an Italian household, they are in for a world of hurt.
