Default Rolling Fenders

Yesterday the Lonestar S2000 Club in Houston had a fender rolling party at C&C Northside Motors. Some of us are running larger tires at the track and are lowering the car slightly on coilovers, so the tires sometimes rub on the fenders. We rented a roller tool and had some teamwork fun rolling the fender lip up and out of the way. It is not a difficult job. Here are some pics.

Is that a heat gun to soften the metal?

It's to keep the paint from cracking.

I don't know, maybe it makes the metal bend more easily, too.

We did that to a friends BMW by rolling my fire extinguisher between the tire and the fender lip.

Whatever gets the job done, I guess! Some guys were recommending a sledge and a towel. We rented an Eastman Rolling tool. Here is a nice Youtube video of the tool for anyone who is interested.

Nice professional job Jim. Did the state let that prisoner out on a work-leave program?

An old wooden baseball bat works well too.
