I figured this would be the likely place to find this rare breed of folks, further narrowed by our love for the S.

Here is my Samuel, adopted from Taiwan

I think adopted children are doubly blessed. And he's a cutie!

We have other friends who have adopted from China. They are now taking their child to Chinese school for language and culture studies. They stay in class as well. Are you doing this? What do you think the +/- are?
Congratulations on such a beautiful boy!

What question?

My sister, Nancy, and her husband are going to the Ukraine in 3 weeks to pick up a brother and sister they are adopting. The kids came to their home, just outside of Colorado Springs, last December and my sister's been working on their adoption ever since. The kids are around 12 and 15, I think. They speak Russian.

Congrats indeed. My eldest daughter is in the process of adopting in Russia. I was adopted myself - so I'm probably biased. Best of you and yours.
