^^^ It must have been quite an impact. The Acura right side A pillar is completely collapsed. I just wonder what happened to the Acura driver?!

Wow. That's terrible. Nice to see the driver and passenger compartments are completely intact though.

Looks like maybe the other guy rolled it. Yikes. Such force. Had to be very painful.

Glad you're okay, Jim. Too bad about the car, but that can be replaced.

Wonderful little car. Collapse zones did their job. Passenger compartment still intact. I'm just thankful that he did not hit 5 feet farther back. Point of initial impact was left front wheel.

I hope Henry County gives me a few points for capturing their burglar. His car ended up upside down with roof pushed in. Fire department had to get him out. Last I heard, he was up in the city at Grady Hospital for his head injuries.

I am surprised that the Honda A pillars are stronger than the high dollar Honda (read Acura) A pillars.

Yep. It is amazing how well those little S2000s protect the driver. I feel certain your car is totaled, but am so thankful you are well. Your little car did its job and kept you safe.

After seeing the damage on your car and Darlene's damage, we all now know that the car is well put together. I was hit by a car runing a red light, in my Civic, a few years back. I never felt any pain or discomfort until 2 or 3 days later, so as other's have said, get checked out.

If you look closely at those pics you can spot what could be "frame damage".

Jim, is the other driver insured? Or do you have uninsured motorist coverage?

We are covered but I think Stantavious D. Hill actually does have insurance on that Acura.
