I was fortunate to buy mine used when prices were at the bottom of the barrel, super cheap. I sold it 9 years later as prices were rising upwards, not quite at the peak , but quite a bit higher.

Seems a bit high to me from what I’m seeing cars selling for on bring a trailer those prices would be in line for very low mileage original cars.
I find it hard to value mine it does have a lot going for it being a one owner car from new with no modifications and everything being original except the windshield but it does have paint chips and a few minor scratches on it and needs a top but the interior is still very clean and I wouldn’t consider it low mileage having 83k on it.

Problem with that chart is not too many of us have a #2 vehicle. We may think we do, but in reality we may have a driver at best. Would assume there are a lot of cars well below that price.

Yeah they do say "excellent" condition, but I have seen plenty in very good shape selling for mid 20's recently. Maybe not as "excellent" as stated in that report but no way in hell would I pay $40k for an AP1/AP2. As much as I like Hagerty, they do have motivation to quote high and convince us to add more coverage and pay more each month

The chart also doesn't reconcile mileage.
WIth that said I would love to have any of my other cars retail as used for original sticker.

If someone offered me sticker for any of them. most would be gone in a NY minute.

I’ve had people offer to buy mine but no one has thrown a price at me. Everywhere I have brought it where it has gone on a lift at least one person in the shop has asked me if I want to sell it.
Not because I own one but in seeing trends with older sports cars I’m predicting that ap1’s are going to be worth more than ap2’s in the future.

I stopped at a Honda dealership one day for a part and a manager saw me get out of my s2k and walked over and said he loved them and then said "never sell it!!!" lol

But yeah I have had a few ask me if I was selling it but never shot a price to me.
