The front end looks very Acurish. I would be interested in buying a new s2000 as long as it wasn't crazy expensive and had a manual gearshift transmission available. Also not a deal breaker but would like to see a folding metal roof.

Thanks, I was about to say the same. If this would indeed come true, I certainly hope they don't let Honda Access (that fugly grill...yuck!) anywhere close to a design studio.

Please send me an update as soon as someone sees one of these in a showroom.

There is not current “platform” that will do for a replacement of the S. They could resurrect the S2000 as they have all the production keys in place. Throw in a new engine but the basic structure of the S is pretty solid in today’s market. Jazz up the interior, easy to do. New nose and taillights. Done.
