I hope so, I don't like group drives in the rain.

Dave, it'd be great to see you.
Ken, Rob, etc. I've kicked this around in head for the past few days and decided it's too far (22 hrs round trip) and too expensive (over $500 w/added motels to and from). If +1 could join me, I'd find a way. I'm just finishing up a engine rebuild for my MGA; parts and shop work have taken it well past $2k. So on that note, everyone have a great time, enjoy, and tip one for me.

Sorry you won't be there. I really do understand, 22 hours is a very long time.

When I lived in Quebec worn tires were the choice we called them Italian racing tires "baldinis" got a great set of Michelins with 0/00 tread for 10 bucks

I hope that you all have a great time. I am conflicted as the Tom Catt Memorial Run is next weekend as well. As we knew Tom before he died, we are going to his meet out of respect. As much as I love the Lake George area and that the Plant Pixie has never been to Lake George this has been a tuff decision. But, RT26 is a great drive and we have always had a good time as well at this drive. Valentine will be there again and she will swear us to secrecy as to what goes on in Room 314 after dinner.

I would like to come out for the Ohio meet next year although I never met Tom.

Maybe it won't be quite so hot there in Sept? I've heard great things about Rt 26. But, I am really not able to plan past June as far as S2000 events go.

I saw a TV show a few days ago and the room # they used was 314

LG is only 90 minutes away from me. Closest meet all year, including the one that took place in MY state

Yup! Thank you

I can do most temperature and miles/KM conversions in my head but beyond that I am pretty useless with metric system - I blame public schools

Waiting for you Canadians to teach me some swear words, eh?
I grew up with the metric system and after 60 years to the English system I still can't convert from inches to miles or from cups to gallons. There is no logic to that system

Canadians converted without a lot of problems but apparently Americans believe it is some kind of nefarious plot.
