Default Server Upgrade

Several websites I pay bills on tell me my server needs to be updated. I have a MacPro laptop and have no idea how to do this. It's about 6-7 YO. Can anyone give me some advice. Thanks.

Server (hardware) or software?

I know of no one using a server (not even Hillary now). There are probably a dozen printers and computers -- and Macs -- (and phones etc) all networked together in my home/office and not a server to be seen.

Your Mac probably needs the operating system and related software to be upgraded, something I thought Apple pushed thru automatically like they do on their phones.

Are you sure they are not telling you your BROWSER needs to be updated?

Yeah, that is confusing. These are online banking bills? How many websites are you talking about? Any servers that are still around would be maintained by the website, not an individual user. Can you be more specific about the messages you got?

If you have an online business/website, you will have a server (Barracuda/Cisco/Intel) but you should know if something is amiss.
