Well, contacts are signed and we should have registration up this week.

Small changes in pricing. I made the executive decision to include the cost of dinner with the room. I hope this doesn't upset anyone.

The current pricing is $162.50/night for a single and 179.50 for a double (number of people, not size of bed).

or 179.50/night for a townhouse room of which there are two.

These prices include taxes and tips(dinner).

Thanks Ken.

What happens if we want to extend the stay, do we have to eat at the Grand Restaurant every night?

Ken,

Recently a few folks have had to bail close to the event. This can cause an issue for the planner who may have already given a head count for dinner.

Whatever you decide on how to get the dinner paid for works for me, however, would it be easier to just ask folks to pay you in advance for dinner, with a no refund policy once we get to 10 days before the event?

I hate to see anyone who is kind enough to host/plan an event get stuck with someone's dinner tab.

Jim, I will check that, but the answer I believe will be no. The room rate should be $127/night.

This is how they came up with the price:
room $127.00 per night
14% tax $17.78

total room $144.78
X 2 nights $289.56 for two nights including taxes

dinner $ 34.67 per person (including service and tax)

Lainey, Thank for the heads-up, and I must apologize for being one of those folks with NorEaster (I really did want to go, I mean really).

They have actually built the price of the dinner into the room rate, so I have no skin in that game, but thank you for asking.

My costs should be covered.

You canceled with plenty of notice for the Nor'Easter, and we were sorry you couldn't join us. We did have a plan in place as far as cancellations so that last minute cancellations did not become the financial burden of the organizers.

Your plan for SF works for me.

Thanks again!

We "may" head in earlier, or stay later to enjoy the area (Cape May)....never been there before and I hear it's lovely.

Sounds like you've gotten everything under control. Let me know if I can help in any way.
