Wow, nearly 40 rooms!!!!! This should be a biggie!

 

Is that TRUE? A given restaurant can influence their reviews by bribing them? How does that work? Does that mean that one should not trust Yelp opinions or rankings? I guess so, IMHO, it is legal for our so called leadership (AKA Congress) to take bribes in the way of "political contributions"

 

There are ways you can get a restaurant to appear higher in the Yelp ratings. Not a bribe, just that there are ways. You have to read everything very carefully and decide whether or not someone has exerted influence. When you see a large number of highly favorable ratings at the top of a review, it's time to put on your "something seems off" hat.

 

Well, Superbowl down, one week closer to SF12. Any big plans for the interim time frame. Just got back from vacation, so nothing major here.

 

Well, we are headed to Key West for a few days in March. Looking forward to that!

I do, too. We have both been there separately, but not together. And not in a long time. Staying at a nice small hotel called The Gardens, right off Duval St.

If you are not familiar with Michael McCloud's music you may want to track him down to hear him preform. His music is like a cross between Jimmy Buffet and Jim Croce with a little Gordon Lightfoot thrown in (as the story teller).

 

We have friends that stayed there, when we were down a couple of years back. They really liked it.

 

Okay Valentines Days is over and we are a couple of weeks closer Spring Fling. Thank you Legal Bill for herding the cats for a dinner plan for Friday.
