An interesting question. Do you need to burn your finger to know that it hurts? Do you need to get hit by a car to know that it can kill you?

I'm greatly in favor of getting your own experiences, but some things are best learned from others.

No thanks. I have already been through too many quakes in my days. If I knew one was coming, I would take everything down off the walls and lock everything up. I guess I would stay here to ride it out and them protect my possessions after 'The Big One", but I really would not like to be here. I am guessing it would be dang near impossible to get back for quite some time though.
