Shooting the Breeze 17-19
He moved to Niwot (Boulder area) in June of 2016. I think last winter was quite mild. I have heard from my sister about the CO winters for 25 years.Oh, check this out! My ex and his girlfriend moved to Fort Collins, CO last September. They are planning to get rid of their house there due to the stench of the animal crematorium nearby, that was not disclosed up front. They plan to build just to the east of me. By car it's four miles but probably about 1 mile as the crow flies. He's finally mellowed out enough to be kind, so far.

Oh, yeah, Kyle, "the CO native" has experienced one entire winter.

Yeah. He and I lived four houses apart on opposite sides of the street from 7th grade until he moved out about 8 years later. We were married for 23 years after dating for 10. It's crazy that he'll be that close again. I do like his girlfriend, though, even though I'm sure they were carrying on before we split up. They are a great fit.

Glad to hear Andy has mellowed. These things can take so very long.
Caveat emptor!! You have to do your research before you buy.
~30 years ago in Bolton there was a big in town fight.
A developer put in a block of new houses next to the pig farmer.
Folks moved in and then the wind shifted.
It was quite a battle against locals vs newcomers.
They actually passed right to farm laws in town.

Yes, that's exactly what Andy is going after. He has a lawyer. It took them a while to figure out why it stunk sometimes. They love their house so much that they plan to build almost the same thing when they move. The plans for the house were left by the previous owner.
I have a spam folder in my email...this morning I happened to see one with the subject "Do you poop fewer than three times a day? If so, you are dying a slow death." Just a public service announcement.
I'm falling apart as I close in on 60 years-old. The broken foot has me still dealing with a sprain of muscles(?) on the back of my heel along with healing bones. My blood pressure is my latest issue to iron out but I'm heading to the doctor this morning and hoping this will be easy. And now it's teeth. What a bad time to have a tooth fall apart; three days before Christmas in a new town. First a chunk fell off and then the big filling fell out. I have the outside shell of the tooth left with a huge hole in it. I have a wonderful dentist in California and she's the only one I trust. I tried to get in touch with one here and she's out on maternity leave. At least it doesn't hurt or rub my tongue.

Your son has been in CO for a while hasn't he? How does he like the winters?
