I heard a rumor that, when he wasn't riding a horse, Ronald Reagan liked to drive Hondas.

So maybe we should change "S2k International" to "Reagan International?"

I wonder if Carter, Ford, Bush Sr. and Clinton are going to get this kind of media attention and ceremony. If not, why?

How about the "Reagangone"?

What notable things happened during there terms that they were responsible for?
We could name the OSHA building after Ford.
CDC or Washington Monument after Clinton.
HUD after Carter.

If they and their families have elected it, then yes, they'll get the same sort of state funeral--which is as it should be. I don't know if the public will react the same for those men...

Media coverage will be driven, in part, by public reaction. No one can make the public turn out if they don't want to.

It already bad enough with people wanting to put him on the $10 bill. I like Reagan but not enough to do all that BS with buildings as well. He was NOT the perfect president. I wish people would stop saying that he was.

When Ronald Reagan spoke, we all felt proud to be Americans. He seemed to represent everything good about this country and I really do miss that. I shed quite a few tears for "Dutch" this past week.

The realities of his presidency are sadly not nearly as great. From tax cuts we couldn't afford causing HUGE deficits we'll be paying for many years to come... to Iran/Contra, and many more clear examples that Mr. Reagan's loose management style had caused a number of inappropriate and occasionally criminal acts to be committed
