She went up the stairs for the first time today. We can close all the doors up there but she can't get back down on her own yet, so I put the items in front of the stairs.
Roll the yard? Huh? Never heard of that.

I wish I could find someone to roll our yard. The HOA won't pay for it and the landscaper won't do it for me.

Rollers come in all sizes and shapes. There are hand rollers or rollers pulled by lawn tractors. I have the old fashion steel one which you fill with water for weight. The neighbors was plastic and much smaller. I'm not sure what it was filled with. Purpose is simple - - flatten the ground from all the bumps after a winter that creates lawn issues from freezing and thawing. We are always fighting moles which really tear up the yard leaving paths and mounds. Some lawn pros will say it should never be done because its smashing down the ground and stopping future lawn growth. On the flip side, if you roll the lawn regularly which I do, it should be airated regularly as well - which I have done every 3 years.

There is going to be an Aussie party. Grab your Crocodile Dundee knife (“That’s not a knife . . . This is a knife”) and some Shrimp for the Barbie cause another Aussie just moved into the neighborhood. A second neighbor brought home another of Roxy’s brothers today!

That's cool. Love all your barriers too. Puppies are a lot of work, aren't they?

Big problem! That is why these dogs herd anything they can find.

My morning pet story. I planned my 3:30 am pee break by putting a pair of old boots in the kitchen. We had a huge amount of rain recently and the yard is muddy. I brought the dog downstairs. Set her down and tried putting on a boot but it was laced to tight. Before I knew it Roxy was into the family room peeing on the carpet! LOL That was all on me; normally I put her straight outside. Good news - I didn't get any mud on my shoes. Bad news - I had to use some paper towel!!
