For small engine geeks
I love this sort of stuff. I have a Husqvarna pressure washer I purchased from Costco 3 years ago. It never started well and then completely stopped working after sitting for a few years. No gas in the tank and I only used premium no ethanol fuel. Spend a lot of time trying to get it started a few months ago and decided to take the carb off and inspect it. The jets, made of plastic of course, were completely blocked with what looked like earwax lol. Cleared, cleaned and now it fires up the first time every time. Was glad it was a simple fix.
Well that's why I posted this.
The engineer (moi) understands that the intake ( and exhausts) are called transmission lines.
The impedance at the ends can really affect how something works. I love the folks who change intakes and exhausts without truly understanding the principles at play.
The more you tune it for power, the narrower the power band becomes.
