I am generally not one to criticize the choices others make in modifying their cars. To each his own, and all that.

But even I have my breaking point. Check out this nasty customization of a perfectly good Rolls Silver Wraith. Not only is it listed on Hemmings (for $75K no less) but it was the "Find of the Day" in today's Hemmings email newsletter.



It's too shiny to be a rat rod, too expensive to be a joke, and way too weird to be taken seriously.

I have seen some pretty bad cars in my day, but that is pretty bad lol. I am gonna have to agree on the drugs! Or maybe the guy has hit 50 deer in his life and is overly paranoid? Extended nose, horns and lights all over ....

Can't blame the JC Whitney catalog on this one. Not sure what this guy is thinking, first for what he did to the car, but the asking price of $75k is just insane. Perhaps he meant $7500, which is still too much.

 

I saw a restomod one sell for that at Mecums Palm Beach. It was a clean chevy powered restomod.

I'd only consider this one if Emil would go and check it out. I'd go as high as 15k

I could 2 tone it in Flamingo Pink and Aquamarine and sell it in South Beach or Key West in a heartbeat.

Of course he'd have to drive it here and join the party in Key West. Maybe a Vintage gathering.
