Charlie, God Bless you and your wife....looks like He (God)already has. That is just a great bit of news, wouldn't it be great if we had more? (good news, that is)

Tommorow the 20th will mark 2 years to the day of my wifes liver transplant. We are thankfull everyday for the gift of life her cousin so unselfishly gave. Kristen risked her life by giving up 60% of her liver so my wife could have a second chance at life. On this anniversary we are attending a couple of Philadelphia Gift of Life Foundation functions trying to bring awareness to organ and tissue donation.

My daughter is doing so well with her 4 wisdom teeth that she went to the mall with her boyfriend this afternoon. I don't know how she ended up with a small cut on her chin from fainting, (maybe one of her rings) but she's not in much pain and is only a little swollen.

I jogged, did some more mulching and fertilizing of my roses, and drove my son to and then later picked up, from his Yu-Gi-Oh tournament. Mr. Kyras and I went to a Ford dealership to check out the F350 truck diesel colors. He is finally going to order himself a new one after putting 151,000 miles on his 1999 truck. The Wedgewood blue is nice and I wish the S came in it. (We have my silver S, his silver truck, a silver Toyota Tacoma and my silver-blue Odyssey. I'm so sick of silver.)

We've rented Matchstick Men for tonight's couch potato action.

Tomorrow I'll be planting some mini roses and gladiola bulbs, doing weights, and maybe working on my Grinch stained glass. With any luck I'll be going to Costco to get my rear S-02s on my S put on.

Wow. This has been a good weekend for many of you.

Charlie, your wife is an inspiration to all of us. It is wonderful to see the "after" pictures. Sometimes things do turn out well.

Patty, great news about your daughter. Wisdom teeth can be wicked. I'm glad she feels better.

Everyone seems to have great plans. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

The weatherman got it right, sunny and kind of warm in Washington the state. So I did indeed head for a couple places I hadn't been before, one being the Key Peninsula. Here is a shot from the "town" of Longbranch with Mt Rainier in the background. Wouldn't it be fun to own that house on the point?

Then I followed Hood Canal. That is the Olympic range in Olympic National Park in the background.

Those are the only photos I took. I was having way too much fun exploring. Sometimes I just putted along and other times . . . well I was driving a s2k.

Lots of vintage guys out on their Harleys, loud pipes and all. Guess you just leave your hearing aid out and no further damage done to the ole eardrums.

I love this state!

Just got back from Phoenix with the family(spring break). I was rolling out of Moab Utah through the Colorado River canyon watching car after car coming the other way with mountain bikes and kayaks heading toward Moab.
I was whining about having the perfect road(lots of twisties) on a perfect day (mid 80's) and me driving the family van when out of nowhere coming the other way was a silverstone S2000 with the driver grinning like the Joker. I can't wait to try it myself someday. It would be an awesome drive.
Word is Moab has a great classic car meet in April sometime. Can't make it this year, but it will be on the calendar for next.
Found the website for it http://www.moab-utah.com/aprilaction/

I woke up and everything is covered in ice so I'm thinking of nixing my snowmobile plans today. Maybe I will go to the store and pick up some stuff to make a big breakfast and do some reading and relax today.
Beautiful pictures smokee! Geezer I've been to Moab, when we were there they were being invaded by jeeps evidently they have a jeep jamboree there every year.
