I don't mind it.... though I do think the trunk should come as standard equipment rather than an optional extra towed behind the car.

I've seen a dozen or so up close now. My comment regarding the Solstice can be summed up easily..
JUNK
It's poorly put together, obviously a compromise car where form takes precedence over function.
I haven't seen a Sky yet but looking at a Solstice and comparing it to it's peers, it's junk.
That's my opinion anyway.

Sat in a Solstice today at the dealer's; that was enough, I had no desire to even test drive it. I said to the salesman, who I kinda knew, "I understand this was to compete against the S2000?" He laughed, and said "It's no S2000." An honest car salesman - yes, there are some.

The more I see and hear of the Sky/Solstice the more I am convinced that they are Detroit doing what Detroit does best. They are Cafe Racers, that is they look real good parked sitting outside of the cafe, but they aren't worth driving.
I work with a lot of young people, people in their twenties. They all think the Sky/Solstice is a great car. When I ask them if they've ever owned or driven a sportscar the all say no. When I ask them why the Sky/Solstice is a great car they all tell me its great because it looks hot. I've learned not to try to argue with them, but I do chuckle to myself.

Maybe not too many readers got your subtle reference to the Plymouth Prowler, which does not have a trunk at all and the "trunk" is a trailer that you tow behind the car.
