THIS, we (the Blues Brothers and Sistahs) KNOW, that's why we don't have to say much too much about it. When you know that you know that you know......

They don't call us the Blue Bayou's for nothing!

Singing: "I'm coming back someday, come what may......"

I don't mind it.... though I do think the trunk should come as standard equipment rather than an optional extra towed behind the car.
Maybe not too many readers got your subtle reference to the Plymouth Prowler, which does not have a trunk at all and the "trunk" is a trailer that you tow behind the car.

I do think Sebring silver is the fastest but then I am a bit biased. Back on the topic, it irks me to no end for American automakers to continue wallowing in their mediocrity.

Speaking of the "Prowler", wasn't there another version out there called the "Howler"????? I drive the "S" with a back-up Pilot(lots of packing space there to carry my shoes ), matching black of course !

I've seen a dozen or so up close now. My comment regarding the Solstice can be summed up easily..
JUNK
It's poorly put together, obviously a compromise car where form takes precedence over function.

I haven't seen a Sky yet but looking at a Solstice and comparing it to it's peers, it's junk.

That's my opinion anyway.

IMHO The Sky Looks much better

I have seen about Ten of these cars in our town including the Solstice, but none of them will play with me.

Sat in a Solstice today at the dealer's; that was enough, I had no desire to even test drive it. I said to the salesman, who I kinda knew, "I understand this was to compete against the S2000?" He laughed, and said "It's no S2000." An honest car salesman - yes, there are some.

Dave,

The more I see and hear of the Sky/Solstice the more I am convinced that they are Detroit doing what Detroit does best. They are Cafe Racers, that is they look real good parked sitting outside of the cafe, but they aren't worth driving.

I work with a lot of young people, people in their twenties. They all think the Sky/Solstice is a great car. When I ask them if they've ever owned or driven a sportscar the all say no. When I ask them why the Sky/Solstice is a great car they all tell me its great because it looks hot. I've learned not to try to argue with them, but I do chuckle to myself.

That's what we need for the S2000...... a trailer that "flooooooows" with the lines of the "S", that doesn't weigh too much and has room for luggage for 2...... and a bucket, and hose, and sponges and towels, and oil, and .............
