Some of Your Favorite Quotes
I am not sure if anyone started this topic of great quotes to share so here we go. If it has, my apologies and we can find that thread and continue. We can share some great quotes that are timeless. Someone mentioned the movie, Lawrence of Arabia and so the thought came to mind. My favorite quote from that movie was by Prince Faisal.
"Young men make wars, and the virtues of ware are the virtues of young men: courage, and hope for the future. Then old men make peace, and the vices of peace are the vices of old men: mistrust and caution."
Now that I am much older than when I was introduced to that movie decades ago, I think these words mean so much more than when I first encountered them. As I get older, some of these quotes seem to sink in even deeper. Please feel free to share some of your favorite quotes. It does not matter whether they come from movies, famous people or not. I think words of wisdom come from every walk of life. I think we can learn from anyone and everyone.
