Don't know about any one else but when our kids were born throw away diapers were way to expensive. Stuck with the cloth ones. I was sure that the EPA would be visiting our home every time we opened the diaper can.

Talk about a breath taking experience!
That reminds me: One of the happiest days in my life was when I could throw away the diaper can after my second one was toilet trained. Carrying a full diaper can from the second floor bedroom to the basement with the washing machine was no treat, nor loading the washing machine and folding diapers.

Oh, yeah, I remember those days. We were in our motorhome at an off-road race (motorcycles) and our daughter had so many "blow-outs" that all her clothes were used up. They couldn't dry fast enough after being washed.

I never minded changing diapers though, just running out of clean baby clothes.

Man, what did you people feed your kids? My son almost never had a blow out, unless I was not paying attention and missed a change interval. Maybe you were all trying to get two into one.

Blowouts were not an everyday occurrence. Just once in a while. I think it might have had to do with teeth coming in.

I used a garden hose on a few cloth diapers along the way.

I found great consolation in the fact that a breast-fed baby's poo has relatively little odor. It's the bottle-fed ones and those who have moved to solid foods that are frightening...

So if I get off the bottle and do more breast feeding, will my gaseous emissions be less aromatic?

I'm just askin...

I did read recently something about breast feeding and better grades in college but i think it only works when your an infant.
of course you don't see a lot of infants in college so their data might be suspect.
