Has anybody been monitoring the "Other Site"? A few Vintage people have. Very interesting. It's worth a look.

There are quite a few folks who are members on multiple sites. I like the term visiting rather than monitoring myself.

The "other" site is S2KCA. I belong to both. I've been spending some time there lately.

I'm trying to form a Northeast Region, and a local NJ/NY Club.

I'm a Gold Member here, and a Life member there. I don't see it as "monitoring" - I simply belong to 2 very different organizations.

I just took a look over there. When there is a healthy virtual community of friends here at s2ki(considering all of the non-car threads), I must say that I don't understand what's behind the interest in the high ppd folks in that other great site that's 99% focused on the car...not the people

I doubt that the 'chat' here on s2ki would be much appreciated over there.....nor would a 'vintage' forum get much support.

I also agree with Legal Bill's comment over there....that many folks do not have much time to spend in both places. I already spend too much time here.....need to take a 12 step program My 2 cents.

And to add to Rob's perspective, I've found, in my limited experience, that the general chat areas over there are far, far more mature and civil than what goes on here. Not perfect, but much more comfortable, for my taste. HPH

I am, actually quite focused on my cars. And my guitars. And my cats and dog. Sometimes people can be OK, too.
