Reminds me of a 'blonde' joke sent to me by someone on this board

Man: Blondie, why are you wearing your TGIF tee shirt on Saturday?

Blondie: Oh, gee- I thought it meant "T*ts Go In Front"

The amount of $$ spent of pets makes me sick. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it

The main exception IMHO is for folks who are legally blind; elderly/living alone; or housebound (emphysema and O2@24/7) like my bro in upstate NY. He has a mutt and a black cat that give him his main companionship....along with the Internet.

[See thread on Healthcare and Sicko, etc for a better place to spend those billions of dollars. I wonder what the "pet" cost/ household is in Canada, France, Germany ]

Jerry, you are looking at this all wrong. One of the main reasons you have so many "sicko's" is these people do not have a pet. A pet can provide many things including love, companionship, they keep you healthy if you walk them, and they never ask for anything in return except the same.

No matter what happens, don't let Michael Vick be your dog sitter.

i wont spend thousand on them if they are suffering because that's selfish on my part. the humane thing is to say goodbye and know that you

If we get into how we as an economy, as a nation, or as a world spend our resources, it would likely go into the politics thread Jerry. I always wondered how people can complain that gas goes up a few cents per gallon and then drive to a casino and lose hundreds or more on entertainment.

I used to dog sit a JRT named Tipper. His wealthy owner backed over him in an Explorer and spent over 15K for months of care, reconstructive surgery, etc. It was worth it to him.

Just came from Petco, 68 and change for 3 months of Frontline.

Ozzy's a rescue, not that I have a problem w/ those who have pure breds, but that too is another discussion.
