Default Split A/C heat pump

I have a detailing business and I work out of my garage which is about 450 Sq. ft. Last year the summer was unbearable and this year so far it has not been too cold. I have decided to have a split A/C heat pump installed in the spring. I talked to some friends and a heating contractor about what brand to install. Feedback was not to go with a Mitsubishi as parts were hard to get and Fujitsu was not not very reliable. A customer recommended Panasonic as he has them in his shop. The reviews on Panasonic were excellent and the price was much cheaper than Mitsubushi and a little lower than Fujitsu. Does anyone have any of these units and if so could you please give me your experience with them. Thanks.

Thanks Gene. This was very helpful and I have a friend who installs Fujitsu. They were highly rated. Came out #2 best just under Samsung.

I think there is another thread here on this very same topic with lots of feedback. I took care of a building (it was over 10,000 sq.ft.) and we had 5 heat pumps in it and they were Mitsubishi. The issue I had was that when the temperature fluctuated it wouldn't keep up. What price have you been giving for the pump and labor?

$2600 for a Fujitsu. I dont think that includes labor. It only takes about 2 hours to install so labor cost should not be bad, It's going in my garage so all I need is a small hole in the garage wall to hook up to the outside unit. The interior unit just hangs on the inside garage wall. And I get to write it off as a business expenses.
