Default Spring Fling 2008

I would like to throw my hat in the ring for hosting Spring Fling 2008. The location I am considering is Seven Springs Mountain Resort, in Somerset PA.

Website www.7springs.com.

This hotel resort offers many amenities for our club including meeting rooms, banquet halls, and most importantly a hose. The mountains surrounding 7 Springs make for beautiful drives in the Spring. Blocking off rooms is not a problem, and I am considering a complete package which would include 2 breakfasts and 1 buffet rib cookout. Costs have not been determined as of yet, I wanted to get everyone's feedback on location first. Feel free to post away with your comments.

If for no other reason than the location (reasonably close to me), I think this sounds great.

And someone with Maury's enthusiasm planning it means a lot, too!

I just don't understand how they can put together a huge website like that without ever saying what town it's in or near and no directions. I presume it's near motel meca there on the PA turnpike, right?

This Memorial Day weekend sounds good, we are rested and ready to go again for the Rockin' Oldies Classic Weekend.

The Wintergreen meet was neat for something different but I can't say I'm a fan of being stuck on a ski mountain top; frankly I'd rather be eating some good Italian food in Pittsburgh.

There should be a paintball competition based on car color.

Maurey, I'm in. Not just to come but to help put it together. I know this will take a lot of planning and you can pass off (delegate) any chore you want to to me. I will help! That of course includes pre-runs, scouting roads, etc. And thanks for stepping up, your the man!
