 :woohoo:

Hey, driving in the "wee hours" ( 02:00-6:00 ) should have NO traffic and few gendarmes for the first 1/3 of your trip :tipwink:

Now, I just wish that you could pick up Levi [NNY S2k] on the way. I've asked him but he says...as usual...."I have to work" :banghead:

:) I had my S corner balanced and aligned today with my new PSS-9 Bilsteins coil overs. I'm a happy driver, again. Darin, at West End Alignment who did it, checked out my tires and his opinion is that I don't need to worry about the tires, and that they should be fine.

I'm glad to hear you're happy with the Bilsteins Patty.
Especially since mine are in a box 5 feet from me. :D

Patty get another tire opinion, or two. We thought ours "should be" fine before our Canadian road trip, and well, you know what happened. I can't blame the tires, but if they were newer, maybe .................

It's not like you can avoid the bad weather while on a road trip.

:tipwink: Lainey, I know the tires are fine, right now. I also know that low tread in a very wet turn is asking for trouble. I don't care what anyone tells me, I normally replace my tires before others think I need to.

I'm still going to consider getting some new ones along the trip if they seem to be getting lower than I am comfortable with. I know I tend to get more tire mileage when it's just lots of straight highway miles, and that's what I'll be wracking up for this trip.

We replace them earlier than most do as well. Even when we got home, Rick didn't feel the tires were in need of replacement right away.

Glad you'll get some tires along the way.

Patty if you want to order the tires and have them shipped to my warehouse that's fine. I can have them put on by a tire place by the office. Whatever works for you
