Beautiful shots of the blossoms. Was in Savannah this last weekend, everything was in bloom their and the weather was great. I love that town.

My dad used to say that mother nature couldn't fool a pecan tree. If the pecan trees budded, there would definitely be no more frost. As far as I remember, it always held true at least in East Texas.
Bradfords are only oriimental. They look great but due to vase shape and shallow root system not great in a strong wind. They tend to blow over or the tree will split in a high wind when they are about 5 years old.
You see lots of them here in North Texas (most are past prime viewing two weeks ago). Just a great sight.
