Default Summit Racing Showcase Store

As I drove into S Atlanta area, I saw this giant neon sign along I75. It said SUMMIT RACING. The store looked huge.

I drove back today to check it out. If you're a power freak, this place was cool. Everything from pistons to differential gears displayed like a jewelry store.

Naturally they didn't have anything for an S 2000 and very little import parts, but if you like getting up close to a high polished big block chevy or ford blower, this was the place.

I used to build Chevy's. This place is Chevy and Ford heaven. It's attached I think to their warehouse, it's almost the size of a Best Buy.

I don't see any way, even with the Atlanta Speedway right next door that they can make a profit out of that store, but it sure is a beautiful and impressive showcase of what they sell.

I've never seen a parts store like it, but then I live in a small place. I did manage to find some Mother Billet Polish ( they're always out of it around me) and a couple other things however.

You'd be amazed what you can buy from Summit for foreign cars. You have to be creative though! When I had my Fiat X1/9 autocross car, I bought several items through Summit. Mandrel bent exhuast pieces, Crane high performance ignition parts, etc...
