Just was watch the Budweiser: Fake Dalmatian ad, which I missed and my wife liked. Cute. No wonder she liked it - horses & dogs.
That one was my favorite commercial as well. None of the others did much for me, but haven't seen them all.

My all time favorite Super Bowl ad.

I think that it was from 1992. The icing on the cake is that I work with a Bob Johnson

According to a room full of Michigan State professors in the Marketing & PR areas they thought the best ad was the Bud (Light?) immigrant ad.

I laughed at that one at least.

Not sure how Go Daddy is making any money. I mean 2.6m for one add. According to their ad, that is like 1.3 million web names!!!!!

Glad to see Dungy and Peyton get the monkey off their backs. I mean, everyone talked about Peyton could not win the big game, but I mean Dungy was fired for it in Tampa Bay. When that happened, I was quite disappointed that Green Bay's coach was not quite out the door, because he would have been a great hire (us in the N.F.C. Central saw Dungy grow up as a coach with both Minnesota and Tampa Bay).

Hopefully the Bears will keep Grossman. That will all but guarantee years of mediocrity ahead. Funny thing is Lovie said it was a priority to beat the Packers, just like Holmgren said it was a priority to beat the Bears, but he didn't back it up by giving Grossman a public beatdown when he ADMITTED ON RADIO that he didn't prepare or concentrate in the last game of the regular season against the Packers and ended up with a QB rating of ZERO!!!!

I don't think I ever saw that one! I had a Bob Johnson who worked for me and knew another that was in our MG club . . . haven't heard from him in a couple years and today he called me. I'll bet he's seen it!! What are friends for, afterall.

According to the Bob Johnson that I work with, Bob Johnson is the most popular name in the USA. There are something like over eight thousand of them.

This Holiday Inn ad made #4 on the all time worst Super Bowl ads. I guess because it offended so many females back in the early 90's. I for one that it was pretty creative and certainly memorable, but that could be because I work with a Bob Johnson.

The #1 most memorable ad for me..........

"Alka-Seltzer, Alka-Seltzer"

In 1969 Alka-Seltzer had a TV ad campaign that showed a prison dining room erupting with the prisoners chanting, "ALKA-SELTZER, ALKA-SELTZER, ALKA-SELTZER . . .", while they banged cups and bowls on the tables. Forget TV privileges and conjugal visits. The inmates wanted only one thing, and that is Alka-Seltzer. The commercial is regarded as a "classic". The product is never seen and the brand name is the only word spoken.

I liked the halftime show and the Doritos ad in the first quarter with the guy driving the car and the girl on the sidewalk eating Doritos. The Blockbuster ad in the pet shop was cute as well.
