Default Supermoon tonight!!!

If you can see it, don't miss this!! Closest to Earth since 1948. We are going to get a spectacular view of it over the city of Washington from our balcony.

Many photographers on the grounds of the Iwo Jima Memorial right now waiting, which is a great and famous spot for photos of the monuments (Lincoln with the Washington Monument and Capitol behind it). The weather is perfect, not a cloud in the sky, so they are going to get some really nice ones.

Deb,

I've written a song for this event. Sing to the theme of "Spiderman."

Supermoon, Supermoon,
Does whatever a Supermoon does.
Can it bend, forks and spoons?
No it can't, it's the moon.
Lookout...here comes the Supermoon.

From the east north east
Around four forty five.
It will be so big
It will fill up the sky!

Supermoon, Supermoon
Friendly neighborhood Supermoon
Lookin' large, overhead
Stay up don't, go to bed
And youuuu, will see the Supermoon.
Hey that's the Supermoon.
Look out it's Supermooooooon.....

We just returned from looking at the moon over Lake St Clair. Absolutely beautiful.
Probably the only one in my life time.

Awesome, not often one sees their shadow at 8PM. Kind'a neat since +1 was born in 1948.
