Default Survived Wilma while in Florida

We had made plans to come to Florida months ago for a visit with our family and to see Sara who was born here Sept. 7th. Little did we expect to have to deal with a hurricane. But, Wilma decided to be here at the same time. Since we are staying in Venice there wasn't much of a problem for us, as Naples was hit the hardest.
We are headed home tomorrow and I'll post a few pics or our visit.
Hope all of our s2ki friends in Southern Florida are OK.

Glad you didn't get hit full force. Be safe on the way home.

I was just watching the news over lunch break and they had video from Naples. Basically, the reporter held the camera out the window as they were driving down the street. And lo' and behold, what was parked in front of the house? -- A silver S2000.

Survived it just fine, I'd say.

I wonder if that was flts' S2000. I suspect the hurricane wouldn't dare touch his car.

Our flight was cancelled for the 6:45PM return yesterday due to Wilma. We then cought a flight at Midnight to Cleveland then Pittsburgh, and got home at 5:15AM today. Had a wonderful time in spite of Wilma!
This was first time we have seen our family since they moved to Florida in early summer! .

The trip to the beach was fun to watch the grandkids!

The husbands were at work when this picture was taken.
Seated from L to R is Alex age 11, Gino 12, Samantha 11 and Vince 4.
The Moms are Lori holding her new born "Sara" and Michele.

The beach before Wilma came.

This is Wilma headed our way.

Sara didn't pay much attention to all of the shopping that was going on this day.

We had lunch at Sharkey's on Friday and walked the pier after.

My wife Carmen found her shop!!
