"As much as I dislike the darkness at the end of the day, I have a real hard time waking up when it's so dark out in the morning. By the time we switch the clocks in early November, I'm more than ready to have a little more light in the morning, and deal with the darkness at 5:00 PM."
^Lainey, you wrote that and I agree 100%. I only have to get up early on Fridays but I don't like that it's dark right now, when I do.

Patty, I don't know how folks who have to be at work in the wee hours do it. Maybe they just have a different body clock or it's a case of "you do what you gotta do." My daughter in law is often up and on the road by 5:00 AM.

Even if I didn't have to get up, I can't imagine sleeping much past 7:30 or so, but on these dark mornings, the 6:15 alarm really sux. Heck, even the birds are still sleeping!

Yep - AZ for one. They are three hours back on daylight savings and two the rest of the year.
Except for the Navajo Nation. They observe DST.
How do you know these things, Gene?

Because I spent one night on their reservation on my way back from Vegas.
