That has a very high "cool factor!" Looks nicely done. You could probably enjoy it for a few years and send it on to it's next care taker without a loss.

Great question and I can only guess. When I first saw it I thought fuel regulator, but there are no fuel hoses running through it. I'm thinking it is an ignition interrupter that activates when the car finds itself at an "unusual" angle relative to the earth.

That's helpful. $21K is well above what I would pay for it. It is not original and the car was in a 1,000 mile rally this year (a pretty harsh one from what people tell me).
