Well, I am still enjoying my teas. Dean, I have a box of Scottish Blend tea that is delightful (imho). I've never been a big Earl Grey fan. I have the Scottish breakfast tea as well and imho it is not as good as the plain old Scottish Blend tea that is especially made for the soft water of Scotland. I believe I got it from Amazon a while back. I LOVE the rooibos from Heavenly teas as well as a green tea blend that came in my sampler and I've ordered more of those. I also have just received a collection of oolong teas that I'm looking forward to trying. My teapot is getting the quite the workout and I'm trying to figure out how to keep these used tea leaves until I collect enough to spread them in my garden.

What brand of Scottish Blend do you have? Taylor's only has the Scottish Breakfast, but I've found a few other brands that offer the Scottish Blend on Amazon.

I like my tea STRONG...
...can you recommend some of the better Scottish teas that are offered that way?
For those looking for a strong Scottish Breakfast teabag:

Teeheehee... (or tea-heehee, if your prefer) Could you imagine if they made those little lazy susan style racks like they have for the K cups, but for the little 50ml size bottles? You could stock it with some of these little guys:

Ok... I should stop now. Sorry. The little prankster in me just couldn't resist.

This is the one I love and it comes in little pyramid bags with no string. Wonderful rich flavor. It makes a divine iced tea as well:

^ Thanks. I'll order a box. I wish it was Prime eligible. Paying $7.00 shipping on a light weight $12.00 item bugs me.

Usually if you order $25 or more, you get free shipping. I can pretty much find something to make it add up. Books or whatever.

The +1 has found out that green tea is a great health boost, so now he wants to start drinking it. I just happen to have some raspberry green tea in the kitchen. He's been researching diet boosters and baddies since his doc told him that he has borderline high cholesterol. He went out and bought oat bran, nuts and sunflower seeds, etc. I reminded him that he can only have 1/4 cup (1.5 ounces, 3 tablespoons) a day of nuts/seeds. If you are munching those things, it could be very easy to go over that.

I'm loving the tea and am sipping a cup of rose petal oolong right now. We've been enjoying a cup or two of green tea in the afternoon and both of us are enjoying the little boost. I love the passion fruit green tea from Heavenly teas. MMMM. MsP: Republic of Tea sells some delightful blended green teas and I've enjoyed them a lot over the years. I think the tea maker has made it much easier to whip up a batch without standing by the teapot with a timer (reminder to self not to be so impatient). Apparently part of the joy of tea is in the "art" of making it. I haven't discovered that joy part yet. I want it and I want it now. Jim's gotten spoiled to having a nice hot cup of tea ready for him when he gets up in the morning. That rooibos tea is fantastic and apparently has a lot of health pluses as well.

Dean, I pulled the plug and went for prime a couple of years ago and have no regrets. It is amazingly easy to just get whatever I need to get within 2 days with zero shipping. It comes with other benefits as well but I've not availed myself of any of them yet. You can also ship gifts to other people free of charge and I've used my prime to send birthday, Christmas, etc. gifts to relatives. Most of my neighbors have prime as well and the UPS and FedEx guys get quite a workout in my 'hood. There is never a week when the trucks aren't down here multiple times. I get all sorts of gadgets and things we need around the house that I could get locally if I wanted to drive out to get them, but figure why spend the $$ for gas, wear and tear, etc. when I can just get it shipped free right to my door?
