Default Thanks Mike

The weekend of October 6-8, 2006 was a great weekend for Vintage. We had two meets at the same time. I organized the Gathering at Gettysburg and Mike (raymo19) organized the Georgia Geezer Gala.

In honor of our both organizing meets on the same weekend, we decided to swap souvenirs of the meets. I sent him a tee shirt and a magnet from Gettysburg, and today I received my official GGG rock. It really is nice.

I wanted you to see the place of honor it holds. It sits on my desk, in my home office, on the pedestal for my computer monitor along with some of my other prized possessions.

Thanks Mike. It really is very nice. I like it an awful lot.

Thanks Jerry. Three weeks from now, in the heart of tax season, I assure you it won't look so neat.

You're welcome Rob. I'm glad you like it.

Is that black S an AP1?

Yup. Its an AP1. The glass car on the right is a VW we were given at the NY Auto Show and the tiny red car on the left, immediately in front of the GGG rock is a little matchbox Miata I bought years and years ago when I was considering a Miata.

Adam has about 12 S2000 models in his collection. I think he has all of the colors except white and suzuka. We've never been able to find those two. These are the three doubles that he let me have.
