I have tried a number of Chinese medicine avenues but I will admit, I have not swung down this path. I do recommend other eastern remedies not related to hanging the family jewels out for support like this!

Fun fact: Much of what the US perceives as "traditional" Chinese medicine was, in fact, developed, or at least popularized during the Mao regime in the '50s and '60s in order to provide the masses without access to modern "Western" medicine with an alternative at a very low cost?.
