Default Third grade geography test

As the poll is anonymous, I thought that perhaps people would be honest with their answers.

For those of you with grand children this should be a fun learning tool, and provide some family fun.

Of course, not having any children, or grand children of my own, I am fairly certain that someone will be offended by the message at the end of this test if they do not pass. As it seems that I can manage to offend people for a variety of reasons that are unforseen by most people.

I hope that most of you find this entertaining, or perhaps educational if you are amongst the geographically challlenged.

Either way: The poll is anonymous. So how many of you got it correct within the alloted time on the first try?

P.S. I take no responsibiltiy for the outcome of your performance in this quiz. I accept NO blame if this challenge does not yield the results that one is expecting or looking for.

I got all of them with a little more than 50% time passed.

It was fun!

I got the short bus. 27/48! I know the western states only. I'm very bad and ashamed. I didn't even know New York and I've been there twice in the last year!

This would seem to be more of a test of pointing-device dexterity than of geography. I tried using one of those laptop mini-joystick things (ThinkPads made them famous), and it was just too slow. HPH

Delaware was just too damn small for my skills with the touch pad.

I finally figured out that you have to have the little red arrow in the center of the state, otherwise it wont go in the smaller states. And yes i got em all the second time around.

Speaking of slow, who creates a poll with a "Yes" or "No" answer to the following question:

Did you pass or fail?

^^

And aside from the dexterity issue, this is too easy. What's needed is an edited version with the state names replace by an alphabetical list of the state capitals. That would be far more interesting. HPH
