Rob, this forum has been a success due in large part to your objectiveness and high standards. I expect that will continue.

Now you can blow off the threads you don't care about, like the rest of us. But can you?

Hey Rob,

You and Deb have been the guiding lights for Vintage, and your dedication, patience and evenhandedness have made this forum the success that it is. While I'm sad to see you step down from your CO role, I can understand the reasons why, and I hope you are able to take with you a strong sense of satisfaction for a job that has been extremely well done.

Kudos to you and your co-moderator!!!

Geez Rob, I take off for one day and come back to this? I can't leave you alone for 5 minutes, can I?

Seriously though, you, playing "Papa Ralper", were one of the reasons I loved this forum so and had so much fun here. Glad you're not totally leaving us and I understand your decision to re-prioritize, especially at this stage in life. All the best to you and my buddy Liz. Can't wait to see you two again soon both here on the board and in person. Enjoy your freedom, love Granny.

I'm really sorry to see you leave the CO position, Rob. Congratulations on all of the fine work and even temper....not an easy thing to do.

Having done almost 3 years as the Del Valley CO....I understand the conflicts

Best regards from Jerry

Best wishes, Rob! I think you know I have nothing but respect and admiration for the stellar job that you and Deb have done. Don't sell yourself short, it is in no small measure that because of you 2, that many people feel that this is the best forum on the net, let alone s2ki. I just wish I had more time myself to spend here....I miss everyone.

Thank you again everyone. Those are very nice things that you've said. I wish I deserved all that praise, but you are the ones who made Vintage great.

Please don't worry. I'm here, and will always be here, just in a different capacity. My Vintage friends and family are way to good and too important to me to leave.

Not only that, but I have an obligation to dream up some more threads, just to keep the COs busy.
