Default Tire Inflaters.

I have non run flats on my BMW. Any recommendations for a liquid flat fixer. No room for a spare.

I have no recommendations but I have heard that tire shops hate that stuff.

This guy is hard to listen to but he has some good reviews.

Just read that liquid flat fixer will screw up your TPMS sensor and it will need to be replaced.

I think you would be better off using one of those cheap tire plug sets. They do actually work. And if they hole is bigger than that you are out of luck for the liquid fix a flat. And a bonus it won't damage the tire pressure sensors.

I carry and have used fix a flat. Like Scoots said tire guys/gals hate the stuff particularly if people don’t tell them they have used it. You want to keep track of which tire has had fix a flat put in it and let anyone working with the tire/rim know even if they are just checking the p.s.i. It can mess up certain equipment.

I carry both in the S and luckily I haven’t had to use either.

No answer for you but I have a question. Did the car come with run flats? My 2025 BMW X5 did but I put Michelin CrossClimate2s on it and sold the run flats. A tire rep at Loveland BMW read me the riot act over my tires. He told me that they wouldn't support the car if I got a flat. I know not to drive on them if I get a flat but still choose them for my car.

I always carried a can of tire repair sealant just in case, it wasn't something I wanted to use but I would use it instead of changing a wheel on the side of the road. I also carry a tire inflator pump in my cars. I know some of the tire repair sealants freeze in winter temperatures and will be a solid block of ice if your car stays outdoors.

Forget the sealant. I use the following on my S2000 and MB with run flats that only go 50 miles. I have used this stuff on two tires, not mine, and the repair was permanent. I need this as I am often in the middle of no dam where driving across Nevada, Oregon and Idaho. The California deserts and Hwy 1 can also be problematic.

Not cheap but high quality and gets the job done when you are in the middle of nowhere and require performance. I have two of each. I have used the pumps for all kinds of things over the years and they are perfect. Great customer service and support. Originally used in Afghanistan for humvee tire inflation. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking. No China garbage. Made in Idaho.

The tire plugger seems to work in an impossible fashion injecting a mushroom shaped plug into a remarkable small hole. It does work. Ask me how I know. It also works on flats from punctures close to the tire edge that would normally be fatal to a tire.

Just dont put slime stuff in your tires unless its an absolute emergency. Use a plug and air up.
